Nairobi Stock Exchange -Teenagers perspective

“If you ain’t talking money then I don’t wanna talk”
Whoever said money can’t buy happiness – obviously didn’t know where to shop πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

Money. I find it odd that it’s only associated with one tribe in Kenya yet we all want it. Need. It. Whether it’s that pretty dress. That new watch, car. That brunch at Kempinski.Sankara.etc

Do you fancy multiplying your money? NO GAMBLING involved?
Well, this post should be a great deal of help!

So your in uni and you’ve been saving up a few doΔΊlars (shillings ) You absolutely have no idea what to do with it. Who am I kidding?Β  You have a few great ideasΒ  but sth is definitely stopping you from using it (that should be my voice πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ)

Invest your money in stock exchange.
It’s all a risk. Risking is awesome.IF you’re a chicken and you fear risking,I’d advise you stop reading this post. Now…
Otherwise, go to your bank. You should have your own account now, right? Right?
When you enter a bank (read, bank not atmπŸ˜…πŸ˜…) there’s usually this place written shares
Approach the attendant and request them to tell you how much your desiredΒ  share is selling at. Then inform them that you wanna buy some. State the exact number.

Note to beginners
1.You need to have a CDSC number. You can get it from the inquiries.

2.You need to have a bank account with enough money to buy the shares

3.You need to have done some research on what shares you wanna invest in. Whether it’s EABL, cic, centum,Equity etc
This site would be helpful to see which companies to invest in http://www.wazua.co.ke/investor/latestprices.aspx

It’s advisable to buy what you can afford because after all it’s a risk.

Good luck investing.

Personally it’s exciting for me since what I invested in is bringing profit:):)
